The KAI single-ring weaver's scissors 2210/1/C/4.5" – also known as ring-finger, thread, or cleaning scissors. Its principle is clever: only the ring finger is guided into the eye, the scissors lies in the palm, and the other four fingers remain free for the work at hand. This makes it the ideal tool for final inspection in garment manufacturing or quick thread cutting at the sewing machine without having to let go of the workpiece.

The scissors has replaceable blades (unlike most spring-mechanism cutters) – this significantly extends service life, as only the blades need to be replaced when sharpness declines. Spring mechanism between the blades for automatic opening after each cut.
